Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of start-up companies on logo design, branding, and decor to support their launches.
New York's Q Hotel was aiming for a fresher, more modern look to their brand. One of the project requirements was to maintain their original color scheme in order to keep the brand recognizable to their existing patrons.
For this design I chose to break the traditional mold of Bridal salon stark white color schemes and use dark, bold colors. This color scheme would not only be used for brand identity but they would also be mimicked in the salon decor. I believed that using darker colors would not only set the salon apart but would also help the give brides a whole new experience seeing their white dress against dark gray walls and decor.
This project was primarily focused on a simple, modern logo design. This new logo was designed for a start up home furnishings company that was looking to make their mark in the local industry.
