Bose SIS at Nordstrom
Over the last few years Bose has been expanding their presence in the luxury department store chain Nordstrom. I was given the opportunity to collaborate directly with the Nordstrom visual team to launch the expansion project.
Soundwear Companion Speaker End Cap
While Bose already had a two-sided 4’ gondola in the Men’s accessory department, Nordstrom gave Bose the opportunity to add an end cap to the gondola to showcase the new Soundwear Companion Speaker. Receiving a 24” wide end cap for a single product and touchscreen is prime real-estate in a retailer like Nordstrom. I was able to match the materials used in the department to make the fixture blend in, but added a lit fabric backer to help draw customers from afar.
NYC Men's Flagship CE Table
Nordstrom tasked Bose with creating an 8’ consumer electronics table and rolling cart to showcase all their products sold at the retailer. All products are demonstrable with the exception of in-ear headphones to give customers an unparelled experience in a small area.
The retailer went on to say that they were so pleased with the outcome of the table and components that Bose was now considered the “Gold Standard of CE displays”. This resulted in a number of additional opportunities for Bose within Nordstrom.
